Field Blend of Gelber Muskateller and Sauvignon Blanc – fresh, tasty, a great summer wine
Description
Our Gemischter Satz 2020 is a field blend of Yellow Muscatel (Gelbem Muskateller) and Sauvignon Blanc (approx. 2:1 ratio) produced in steel tanks. After the harvest, the grapes were pressed directly using whole cluster pressing, which avoids unwanted turbidity.
After fermentation in our cellar at approx. 19°C, the wine was once withdrawn from storage and only then moved again during bottling. The Gemischter Satz 2020 has pronounced nutmeg notes from the Yellow Muscatel and a pleasant acidity.
